Lavender Hill Paper Co. is a small business that creates beautiful planners, notebooks, and bookmarks to help people get organized and intentional with their lives.

Goals:

An automated welcome email needed to be created that included the discount offer for signing up for the email list and to set audience expectations for what to expect in their inboxes next.

Strategy:

A big part of this client’s mission is helping their customers live lives they truly love while also building community. For the welcome email, I captured the warm, inviting, sincere brand voice to craft an email that makes readers feel like they’re chatting with a close friend.

I gave the reader a quick background on Lavender Hill’s journey and highlighted what they can expect as a subscriber. The main call to action was the discount offer, which I made immediately clear at the beginning of the email. I followed this with a secondary call to action to browse planners.

Results:

Over the last few months Lavender Hill’s email list more than tripled in size, and they saw a 5% increase in sales thanks to this well-timed welcome email and discount offer.

The combination of their email list growth and increased sales shows the success of this project in driving both engagement and conversions.
